This Privacy Policy describes how Parcentry ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Parcentry web application ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. What We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address (for authentication and communication), Organization name (if you create a team workspace), and role within your Organization. We do not collect or store passwords — Parcentry uses email-based magic-link authentication exclusively.

User-Created Content

We store content you create: watchlists and watched property addresses, notes on properties or signals, tags you apply, and review actions (who reviewed what, when).

Property and Public-Record Data

Parcentry ingests publicly available data from government sources (currently Nashville / Davidson County, Tennessee) including building permits, property standards cases, and parcel records. This is public-record information published by government agencies.

Payment Information

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe handles payment data subject to its own privacy policy. We receive subscription status, customer ID, and billing period dates from Stripe.

Usage and Technical Data

We collect session data (encrypted cookies for login state), server logs (IP address, timestamps, pages visited, browser user-agent), and error reports (via Sentry) for security monitoring and debugging. No tracking cookies are used for advertising.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect passwords, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, biometric data, or data from your devices beyond standard web requests. We do not access your email inbox, contacts, or files.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. Specifically: email for authentication and transactional emails, Organization data for team features and access controls, watched addresses for matching against public records, notes/tags/reviews for collaboration features, Stripe data for subscription management, and logs for security and debugging. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

3. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your data. We share limited data with service providers that help us operate:

We may disclose information if required by law. If Parcentry is acquired, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction with notice.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days. Anonymized data may be retained for analytics. Server logs and billing records may be retained up to 12 months for legal purposes. After subscription cancellation without account deletion, data remains in read-only mode for 90 days.

5. Cookies and Sessions

Parcentry uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in and maintain your Organization context. It is server-side, encrypted, and functional only — not used for advertising or tracking. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies.

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures including encrypted sessions, CSRF protection, time-limited magic-link tokens, HTTPS, role-based access controls, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the data we handle.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to specific uses. Contact us at hello@parcentry.com to exercise these rights.

8. Children

Parcentry is a B2B service for commercial real estate professionals. It is not directed at individuals under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
